Summer time sadness got you down?! We're here with the cure. Gather all your pals and share the dance floor with us for a evening of genre exploration served up by four of Indy's heroes of the decks! This celebration of sound includes local label, Medium Sound, boss Mark Tester warming up the room with some vibe centering ambient sound painting! Medium Sound is a vibrant outlet putting out cassette tapes of experimental electronic music that Indy is blessed to have thriving within our little community. Featuring artists making everything from spaced out synths to dnb and techno inspired minimal, the label shares a similar ethos to Coterie which we thought made it high time bring it all together! You might know Mark from State Street Pub/Club, so be sure tip him well so he can continue to produce amazing artists work for our aural pleasure.
Speaking of State Street Pub, our next selector has been transforming the little Near East Side pub into a welcoming underground dance hotspot with every State Street Club they put on! Duck Trash has solidified their place in Indy Dance Music History with their tireless efforts to keep Techno and the Queer community at the center of all they do. We've been a fan since they were still just a Btown guest blowing through town to grace us with their deep cut blessings. If you're not already a fan of bangin' ass techno with a side of sass, get ready to be once Duck Trash is done with you!
Black Circle is not only home to Coterie but has given the Progression Indy crew a place where Progressive House and Trance community can thrive once again! Low key, Indy has a deep thing for the Trance world, and it has been obvious the city was thirsty for it when Trung Ngo and team hit them with a new night to get their fix. Every show is a packed house with a diverse community of fans old and new; you love to see it. We're stoked to share some of that NRG with the Coterie crew this time as Trung hits the decks to flex.
